Nicos Kypris, earned a MSc. in Civil Engineering with a distinction in 1994, from the Imperial College, London. He has received an academic award for his performance during his studies at Greece National Technical University.

During 1994-1996, he served as a design engineer for concrete structures with a Cyprus civil engineering firm. During the last two years he served as a project civil design Engineer for an international consulting engineering firm based in Cyprus, that was involved in the design of industrial power projects.

During 1995 -1997 he served as a structural design engineer for equipment foundations and building systems with an international consulting engineering firm based in Cyprus, which was involved in the design of industrial power projects.
